ITINERARY

DAY 1 – SALTA
Arrival to Salta Airport and transfer to Hotel. 03 nights of accommodation with breakfast.

DAY 2 – SALTA
After breakfast we start city tour in Salta. The City of Salta, capital of the Province, was founded on April 16, 1582 by Hernando de Lerma, governor of Tucumán by order of Peru, locating it in a beautiful and fertile valley that bears his name. . Known as “Salta la Linda”, it is one of the Argentine cities that has most preserved its colonial architectural heritage.
In its building appearance, colonial constructions with white walls, red roofs, cisterns and a stately appearance are mixed with modern buildings, within an urban plot that contains several green spaces, among which the San Martin Park stands out, linked by the Cable Car Complex with San Bernardo Hill. Half-day excursion, where we can know and interpret the historical part of the City and its surroundings: Cathedral Church, Church of San Francisco, Convent of San Bernardo, San Bernando Hill with the panoramic view of the City, San Lorenzo village ending at the Artisan Market.

DAY 3 – SALTA
After breakfast we start excursion to Humahuaca Canyon. The Humahuaca Canyon, in the Province of Jujuy, declared Natural and Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Excursion that along the route through the landscape, the towns, the customs and traditions invites us to enjoy one of the most important attractions of the region.

We will visit the towns of Purmamarca where we will have a privileged view of the 7 colours Hill, the Artisans Fairs; Tilcara with a visit to the Ruins of Pucara de Tilcara; Following the route along National Route 9, we will arrive at Humahuaca, walking through its narrow streets with its houses of particular architecture, with adobe walls and cane and mud roofs. Lunch time.

On the way back we will stop in Uquia where we will visit the Church with the collection of paintings from the Cuzco School. Arrival in the City of Salvador de Jujuy, brief City Tour. Return to Salta.

DAY 4 – SALTA
After breakfast transfer to Salta Airport.
